Hey Potterheads, this video is all about seeking justice for one of the most underrated characters in “Harry Potter” — Ginny Weasley. She’s such a great character in J.K. Rowling’s novels, but that doesn’t necessarily cross over to the films. It’s a classic books vs movies issue, and we feel sorry for Ginny that she doesn’t get the praise she deserves. There are so many times we felt bad for her. First off, there’s the Weasleys’ family dynamic. Being the youngest and only girl with six older brothers? That’s gotta be tough. And growing up at The Burrow wasn’t a barrel of laughs for Ginny. Her brothers didn’t let her play Quidditch with them. But she had a secret mission that she started when she was just six years old. And eventually she proved her prowess, getting a spot on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and making a career out of the sport playing for the Holyhead Harpies.

Another reason we feel sorry for Ginny is because of her dreadful first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Being taken over by Tom Riddle’s diary and opening the Chamber of Secrets was a seriously traumatic experience for the young witch, and it stayed with her for years after. And let’s not forget her love story with Harry. That was far from plain sailing. She had so many embarrassing moments when she was crushing on her brother’s best friend. Surely that makes her one of the most relatable characters in the series? Her relationships with Dean Thomas and Michael Corner also provide great examples to the rest of us about not putting up with nonsense.
