The shoe is significant because of its rarity, even in an old condition. Michael Jordan's original 1985 Chicago Air Jordan 1s sold at auction in 2020 for $560,000. On the market, a good pair can cost anywhere from $20,000 to $30,000. Because the client wanted to keep the originality of the shoes, they will be resoled using a donor sole. The team will go through the process of how they do this professionally to give the soles a seamless finish.
