Journeying through a seaside town, the elderly Ida remains unseen. After purchasing a packet of french fries from an invisible and unaware street vendor, Ida gleefully allows an invisible seagull to snatch a french fries. The packet is knocked away, so Ida scurries after. Children skip by without noticing her struggles. At the train station, Ida labors up an enormous flight of stairs. A backpack rushes past, ignoring her strains. When Ida finally arrives, the train is already leaving! Exhausted, she sits down in disappointment. A faint meow interrupts her sadness, appearing from the shadows, a cat snuggles up to her! An overjoyed Ida finally receives attention.
