A simple but stylish shelf to go with my previous made cherry desk. The design is inspired from the mid century modern Danish style of the 50's furniture with some details to match some elements and angles of the desk.

The shelf is made from just four components joined together with sliding dovetails. A back panel would have been good to add too but the inside space is tight enough so the hangers will not be visible. It has two stops on the upper shelf in order to lean some document files. The length is enough to accommodate A4/Letter size files.

The cherry wood used here is the same one that I dried during my first batch of the solar kiln as well as the one I used to build the desk. Final finish is with Danish oil.
