In our quest to work over the front brakes on our 1991 Pontiac Firebird, we have finally gotten to the heart of the system: the master cylinder. We will remove it from the car, take it apart on the bench, and get it all back together with only a $6 rebuild kit and no specialty tools. Then we will bench bleed the cylinder, reinstall it onto the car, and bleed the entire brake system.
