2008 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited with A/C climate issues on driver side. The technician gave me an estimate price of $600 to fix the problem. Well, you can fix it by yourself for just about $50. The part numbers involved are two:A/C Heater Blend Door Actuator - Dorman (604-307) and A/C Heater Blend Door Actuator - Dorman (604-308). The first (ending in 307) is only the electronic box, the one that usually fails preventing the blue part to rotate. The second (ending in 308) includes the mechanical part that moves the leverage of the door and they are screwed together. Also check this website for more info about the two part numbers: http://www.autozone.com/1/categories/....
When you install the new actuator make sure that the end of the door's leverage falls in the track of the blue rotating part of the actuator. To make this happen you can help yourself rotating the temperature control knob until the leverage falls in the blue track.
I hope this helped you to save some money and also to have some kind of fun fixing your car.
