In this video we start a new series by comparing my 1964 Mercury Comet against my 2021 Mach 1. Sure the Mach 1 is way faster but it was also a lot HEAVIER when new. How much power would it take for my Comet to have the same power to weight ratio as a modern muscle car like the S550 Mustang? It's not as much as you might expect. Let's hit the CAT Scales as well as the local chassis dyno to see what we're starting with!
