This circuit has been in use for 24 hours a day over the past 4-6 months. It operates perfectly. I used this circuit to charge two 18650 Li-Ion batteries for my cordless vacuum cleaner. You can charge many different battery types with this circuit. If you charge (2) Li-Ion batteries in series as I did, be sure to affix a 3A/ 70-90 degree Celsius thermal fuse between both batteries using thermal heatsink compound and foil tape. The fuse will then be wired in series with the 2 batteries. Also set charger output voltage to 8.33V - 8.36V, and use a 1 ohm resistor in the circuit.
