The long list of innovations developed by Citroën for over 100 years grows once again at a time when the brand is once again making history in Brazil, with the New C3 Aircross SUV.the New Aircross debuts as the most affordable turbo SUV in Brazil.The only B-SUV with the option of seven seats will be produced in the Porto Real Industrial Complex

The C3 Aircross offers a butch SUV design, which is otherwise largely influenced by the C3 hatchback. At the front, the C3 Aircross gets a new grille. Unlike the C3, the C3 Aircross’ new grille does not merge seamlessly with the LED DRLs. The headlights continue to feature the semi X-shaped LED DRLs and the main halogen-based headlights sit in a separate cluster. The lower part of the bumper features a faux skid plate and round fog lights as well.

Around the side, the new C3 Aircross gets flared wheel arches with black cladding, giving it a butch SUV stance. It also offers 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The C3 Aircross sits tall with a ground clearance of 200mm. Like the C3, the C3 Aircross also features the outdated flap-type door handles. At the rear, it features larger tail lights with a C-shaped lighting treatment and a silver skid plate placed on the bumper.

In terms of size, the C3 Aircross measures 4.3m in length, 1,654mm in height, 1,796mm in width and sits on a 2,671mm wheelbase -

Moving to the cabin, the C3 Aircross will be offered in two seating configurations – a 5-seat layout or a 5+2 seat layout with the latter featuring removable third-row seats. The SUV gets the same dashboard design as the C3 hatchback. The Aircross though gets a more upmarket 7.0-inch TFT digital instrument cluster. A 10-inch touchscreen sits atop the centre console and gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, while rotary air-con controls seem to have been carried over from the C3 hatchback. The 5+2 seater also gets additional roof-mounted vents with blower controls in the second row for better cooling at the rear.

The 5-seater offers a boot space of 441 litres with the rear seats up while the 5+2-seater offers up to 511-litres of storage with the second row up.

The award-winning Turbo 200 engine equips all versions of the New Aircross with all the technologies that made this engine a milestone in the category. There are up to 130 hp with ethanol (125 hp with gasoline) and 200 Nm present in a wide rpm range, This set is always linked to the seven-speed CVT automatic transmission and three driving modes.
