Teaching online brings many new and different responsibilities. Whether you are already using video conferencing to get in touch with your students, or just beginning, this video will take you through some features to help you stay connected.

To begin using Zoom, head over to zoom.us to sign up for an account.

On Zoom's homepage, click on the Schedule button to set up your meeting ahead of time. You can customize your meeting with plenty of options here.

You can copy the Invitation Link, Meeting ID, and Password and paste this information into an email, a learning management system, or any other application that you use to communicate with your students.

When you begin your call, there is a toolbar at the bottom of the screen with many different buttons for you to customize your call even further.

Zoom allows you to share your screen with your students and even have your students share with you too. You are able to share any window that you have open on your desktop and also some others as well, like a Whiteboard page or a second camera.
