Introducing our 3rd project car, a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) legend, a car that caught my eye at the New York Auto Show in the late 1990's, a car that shares the same 2JZ engine block with the MK4 (A80) Toyota Supra Turbo - the Altezza / Lexus IS300!!! And not just any 1st generation Lexus IS300, but the limited production SportCross! After narrowing down a rather extensive list of enthusiast sports cars down to the; MKIV (A80) Toyota Supra, Toyota MR2, Pontiac GTO, BMW M3, Lexus IS300, SC300, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX7, and more... as you see there are plenty of Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) tuner sports cars from the 1990s and 2000s, many made popular by the Fast & Furious!!! Watch the video to see me take possession of our first official JDM restoration. Subscribe to follow our 2003 Lexus IS300 SportCross restoration and car modification journey. We'll be restoring the Toyota Altezza to its original OEM condition, then look to install and dyno test various high performance modifications for the Lexus IS300, walking through how-to mod installs, maintenance tutorials, and taking the car to the dyno to test horsepower and torque, and finding out how much horsepower the Lexus IS300 mods add, modifications such as an air intake, exhaust, headers / downpipe, turbo, ecu tune, etc. Oh, and don't worry, our 2019 Honda Accord 2.0 Touring project car (10th Gen Honda Accord) and MKV Toyota GR Supra isn't going anywhere (yet)!
