Hi everyone,

My name is Soo Young Hong. I was raised in Indonesia for 19 years before moving to Seoul for university.

As a child living in a rural area in another country, I always had a deep longing for freedom.

Not quite knowing what kind of freedom I truly meant, I incessantly searched for it by all kinds of superficial means.

Realizing my life long career by extensive manifestation, studying abroad, holding onto the identity of being ‘international’, getting immersed in academic life hoping to find the truth in life and many more.

Then it was in 2023 when the suffering became unbearable that I discovered the work by Byron Katie. It was a huge opening door towards disidentification with the mind.

But just like any techniques and methods, after months of practicing, I realized I was stuck again with concepts. The initial lightness and moments of liberation became weaker as the practice became habitual.

Then in 2024 January, after coming back from a holiday in Indonesia (a holiday which I have strongly wished to find myself), I listened to the audiobook "The Greatest Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and had a moment of realization of my true nature.

Moments of blissful happiness came whenever I listened to it. But I felt the stable knowing, independent of the audiobook was still missing.

The direct seeing of my true nature felt fleeting, which further made the will to fully realize who I am and to find the freedom I have always sought stronger.
