The AirCar is a hybrid vehicle that can turn from a car into a plane. Its mass production could herald the age of the flying car.

Klein Vision the Slovak firm behind the AirCar has conducted over 70 hours of test flights and over 200 takeoffs and landings.

The co-founder of Klein Vision Anton Zajac said: "Fifty years ago, the car was the epitome of freedom. AirCar expands those frontiers, by taking us into the next dimension; where road meets sky."

Which reminds of what Dr. Emmett Brown said in the movie Back to the Future: “Roads, where we’re going we don’t need roads!” I don’t think it was just meant to be interpreted literally, but that it was meant to be a statement of humanity’s great journey.
