Part of the IHG group this beautiful 5 star hotel is set in a Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh’s New Town and is just a few minutes walk from Princes Street.

It is also close to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and the perfect hotel location for exploring Edinburgh.

We stayed in room 462 which is a lovely spacious double room with a seating area and balcony with a view of Edinburgh castle.

The hotel also has Spa facilities to use including a pool, sauna and steam room. There are 2 treatment rooms if you would like to book in for a massage, facial etc.

There is also a relaxation room and the first Sound Therapy treatment room in Scotland.

The Spa uses Ishga Skincare which is a Scottish Seaweed Skincare company based in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Ishga is award winning and used in many luxury Spa hotels.

Food and drinks are served in the restaurant BABA or if you are looking for tea/coffee during the day you can go to the beautiful Garden Room which is a relaxing haven surrounded by plants.

The staff in this hotel are very welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Edinburgh.
