🌟 Reflecting on the Essence of Hospitality through the Power of a Note 🌟

Last week's video about Elicia Orsbourn and my trip to The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands experience sparked a great conversation about the importance of personal touches in hospitality.

Today, I want to share how the RC team left a note regularly through different touch points in our stay. Despite never meeting him, Afree, a room attendant wrote us notes and gave thoughtful touches in our room - from chocolates to running a warm bath - and showed the remarkable power of hospitality without direct contact.

This experience made me think about how we can extend such personal gestures in our hashtag#fooddelivery interactions, especially considering a recent TikTok video contrasting the impersonal note from a DoorDasher believing they weren't getting a tip with the handwritten notes I've received from a team member at a local Chick-fil-A Restaurants.

In the era of delivery and digital service, a simple personalized note can transform a transaction into a memorable experience. It's a small operational step that could lead to a significant increase in customer loyalty.
