Everything that I do for my child, I do with a spirit of gladness. That's how you're supposed to give. Freely and unfettered. But its hard, taxing, and it wears on you. I know for a fact that I am not the only one.

I see it everyday, in the parents of autistic kids that I know. It the families of children and adults (because they grow up) with disabilities. Its a willingness to do any and everything for you child, I knowing that it is not enough, and an acceptance that the everyday struggle is just not fair. It shouldn't be this hard for parents to give their child everything that they need. No matter what the child's ability level is.
