One day, Zeno of Citium, the author of the saying “Evil cannot be glorious - death can be glorious, which means death is not evil,” was caught in a storm near Athens. Already there, having read Socrates and become disillusioned with his teachers - Crates, Stilpo and Deodora, he created a philosophical school, passing on wisdom to everyone willing to listen. This is how the philosophy of Stoicism was born.
Zeno's teachings quickly spread throughout the ancient world and were accepted by both slaves and free people. But the story doesn't end there. Centuries later, this philosophy remains relevant even in modern society. Stoic practices can help tame the chaos we face every day. We emphasize that this is not the opinion of the editors, but the opinion of the Stoics. It is your right to agree with them or not.
