They live on a houseboat, far away from the rest of the world, in the land oft he Inuits. Two times a week airplanes bring passengers to the village, but some winters it can be cut off from everything for a month at a time, because the planes won’t be able to land.
This documentary followst he family on their journey through the ice, while they talk about the beauty oft he isolation, the dangers and risks, and explain their plans for their daughters education. From food rations to seal hunting, it gives an interestnig and rare insight on the lives oft he people who live in the northernmost part of our world, where the temperature can drop under 50 degrees below zero.
