Sometimes we all need to sit down and have a deep talk about life and it's mysteries. When I first heard the story of a Columbian woman lying about her working for Studio Ghibli and making up the whole journey, I thought it was a joke. Turns out faking success is a lot easier than I thought and it got me thinking. I investigated more and tried to understand the complexity of how she was able to fool big media platforms and the whole country. Her story became viral and that's when professional animators pointed out a couple of factors which wouldn't add up.
How easy is it really to fake fake? After investigating more into different directions, I came across a brilliant documentary called "Fake Famous". Nick Bilton, the director, tried to make three unknown individuals successful influencers with a surprising outcome!
Forcing fame and a successful career sounds tempting, but at what price? Come along and discuss the downside of a fake glamorous appearance and how it affects the human soul.
Side Note: Clearly I don't know how to fake success, I am currently sitting here with 403 subscribers (while uploading this video), which is the world to me, but in YouTube terms a different story haha 🖤 but I am glad you huns are here with me.
