Yes we have a few things to fix on the 2003 nbs GMC Sierra Stepside. The first thing we tackle is replacing the relay a took out for the dually build. While replacing the relay I wanted to do the 6 on mod or the all on mod for the 2003-2006 and 2007 Silverado Sierra Tahoe Yukon and Escalade. This allows you to use dims, brights and fog lights all at the same time. It is a simple upgrade that just requires removing a few relays, putting in the small plate and replacing the relays. It is a even bigger upgrade if you have led bulbs. It no longer kicks off the fog lights when you turn on the brights. Next we fix a common issue on gm trucks in these years. The Oil pressure sending unit. When I bought this truck the oil pressure was not reading correctly. This oil pressure switch or oil pressure sensor can be installed on the truck without removing the intake. You will however get some scratches on your arms. After replacing this the oil pressure is now reading correctly and back working. Last I was not a huge fan of the bullet antenna that the truck had. Instead of buying a short antenna, I decided to have Kam help me cut down a stock antenna. You can make your own and it works as well as the options you can buy. The short antenna will cut down some of the reception but I can still pick up radio stations from about 40 miles away. We have a few more fixes to do on this truck to get it up to my level.
