With the interest rate still staying high as federate reserve decided not to cut rates, banks are hitting record earnings. For DBS, it is another record earnings but it is also due to the management good investment that allowed it to hit another record earning. The non-interest income rose 30% Y-O-Y which is expected to continue growing as they expand into Taiwan and India businesses.

This also helps to set the stage for earnings of UOB and OCBC. The management have also hint at good returns for shareholders for the year. So if all goes well, there might be special dividends for FY2024 as well which I will definitely look forward to.
