Hi everyone,

Finally we get to introduce the Canon M-Lite. This is a special project that shows us one thing...we can build the camera's we want using existing tech as long as we have the idea's and determination.

Just imagine a future where we only buy simple cinema camera's for their cinematic capabilities and not for useless features and trinkets. Now imagine you have the opportunity to choose the design...a traditional dSLR shape, a box, a rectangle or whatever suits your needs.

Now imagine being able to assemble it at home, IT'S CRAZY! When your camera gets damaged you just replace that particular body part.

No doubt the less positively minded folk will always throw shade but for the majority you will see the value in such a project and what it could mean for other great camera's old & new which have the potential to be brought into the modern age and able to compete with far more expensive models.

The Eos-m and Magic Lantern will challenge you in all aspects of creating cinema but all the challenges you overcome will make you a better cinematographer and a problem solver 🙌🏾
