Pokemon Red and Blue. Two games that shaped the childhoods of millions of children across the globe. But taking off those rose-tinted glasses, the cracks of the original Gen 1 games immediately reveal themselves. And one big problem is the assortment of mediocre Pokemon. Today, I’ll be making improvements to a few of the most underwhelming Gen 1 Pokemon that still haven’t received any good treatment and make them a bit more usable for a playthrough.
