Lots of speculation about how Neo could be back in The Matrix Resurrections. My answer is that he isn’t, because this isn’t him. It’s a computer program designed to be a perfect copy of him, that doesn’t know that it is a program.

And if I’m right, which I am almost 100% sure that I won’t be, it could also lead to a huge twist, and also clean up a few loose ends from the matrix trilogy. Not to mention take us in a surprisingly fresh direction with any future matrix films. Because come on, you just know they will launch a new trilogy if this movie is received well, they will totally launch a new trilogy, that will start out great, then end with a big disappointment.
