If you run into any issues at this point, like I mention in the video you can troubleshoot by restarting the iPhone, hard reset the iPhone, Reset the HomePod and finally what worked for me, disconnect the internet and connect it back.

Apples mini bluetooth speaker could have been so much more if they created it based around portability. If it was able to be disconnected from the USB-C cable and take around, I feel it could have taken over the smart home speaker game.
