This latest version of the Honda Accord hit the road in 2017 for the following model year, meaning that this generation of Honda’s well-proven family-sedan staple has now been on Canadian roads for nearly four years.
When this generation Accord launched, big-news items included a new powertrain lineup, a wide rollout of advanced safety and connectivity tech, and various improvements to refinement and drivability.
Look for a turbocharged four-cylinder engine in either 1.5 or 2 litres displacement, with about 192 horsepower from the smaller unit, and 252 from the larger one. Transmission choices included a CVT automatic on most models, with some availability of a six-speed manual on higher-performing, enthusiast-focused grades.
