Yet another high hat analog circuit based on the DR-110 cymbal circuit. Using the ping of the cymbal and its VCA, this version of the high hat is closer sounding to a true acoustic high hat which has a metallic ringy sound compared to the more electronic sounding previous version which is closer to an hip-hop/dance/techno style high hat which I call a low hat. It still sounds good so im using both. This circuit uses existing circuit elements from cymbal circuit and only requires 11 more components providing a separate closed and open high hat voices for the drum machine without a lot of additional work.
