Using a matte black carbon bike frame and some specialist spray paint, I made the world's most reflective bike!

I tend to do a lot of road cycling at night. The roads are quieter, it’s usually less windy. However I tend to wear black cycle clothing, and most of the bikes I ride are also matte black. I love the look, but admittedly I'm not the easiest thing to spot out on the roads (even with bright cycle lights).

There are certain fabrics that runners tend to wear that are extremely reflective, and light up when lit with a torch or car headlights. I wanted to replicate this effect on a bike frame, and found some specialist spray paint that should do the job.

So in this episode, I strip down one of my carbon road bikes, and spay the frame, fork, and seatpost with SUPER reflective spray paint.
