Recently the warning to replace the battery in my Mini Cooper key fob popped up on my dash so I thought I'd put together this little 'How To' video to show you how easy it is.
If it's easier, here are the steps:
STEP 1
Remove the integrated key from the Mini remote control.
STEP 2
Slide the integrated key or a flathead screwdriver into the opening and raise the cover. The battery compartment is now accessible.
STEP 3
Slide the integrated key or screwdriver in the cover of the battery compartment and raise the
cover.
STEP 4
Push battery in the direction of the arrow using a pointed object and lift it out.
STEP 5
Insert a type CR 2032 battery with the positive side facing up.
STEP 6
Insert lid and cover.
STEP 7
Push the integrated key into the remote control until it engages.
