Egg rolls | Spring rolls recipe | Best homemade egg rolls

Egg rolls or Chinese spring rolls also known as lumpia in Indonesia and Phillipines are a popular street food snack. They often have minced pork in the filling but this recipe features only vegetables.
These egg rolls/chinese spring rolls are light, crispy, full of flavor and so much better than takeout! They can be served edelicious appetizer or snack that can be served at gatherings or dinners. Make these egg rolls/chinese spring rolls for your next party and have everyone raving about them!

INGREDIENTS:
10 Spring roll sheets
1 lb/450g cabbage
2 medium carrots
4 scallions/green onions
1/2 tbsp ginger (grated)
1/2 tbsp garlic (grated)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder
4 cups oil (or as needed)
1 tbsp ap flour
2 tbsp water
