After years of waiting, I've got myself the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Max, which I think is also the best laptop of 2021. Having used it for over a month, it has performed exceedingly well in everything I have thrown at it. Whether it comes to video editing, graphics, rendering or just casual usage, it is the most powerful all-rounded machine I have ever used. Being a first time macOS user, going into Apple's ecosystem did have its caveats. However, it has not taken long to adapt. After everything that has been said about the machine's hardware and design, its thermal performance and battery life readings are just unmatched on any other laptop. And this is why it might be the best laptop of the year.
