In this episode, we demonstrate the reason air conditioners, namely the indoor unit won’t blow enough cold air even though it is set at full speed with the lowest temperature. The air conditioner in this video has a cooling capacity of 9000Btu/h, model: GREE GWC09QB-K3NNB4F/I. The main culprit was that the indoor blower was very dirty which prevented the air to flow smoothly from the unit. It is a simple DIY solution but needs to be performed by a skillful technician since the unit is subjected to dangerous electrical circuits which may cause short circuit or other related accidents if mishandled. We highly recommend that you get your air-conditioned serviced once a year else you may be paying high electricity bills due to the poor cooling efficiency caused by accumulated dirt on the blower. We also recommend that the blower is coated with ceramic wax coating after the cleaning process. This will minimize dirt to build up on the fins of the blower as the surfaces are smooth and waxy.
