Vying to emerge at the forefront of that battle is the 2024 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, which combines affordable pricing with a strong equipment list and a well-executed five-seat interior.

Here we’re testing the entry-level Urban, which like all Tiggo 7 Pro variants comes with a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine, a dual-clutch automatic gearbox and driving manners that leave a bit to be desired.
