Linda Nacif was born in Los Angeles in the 40s. Jenny, her eldest daughter was born in Mexico 30 years later. Linda was one of Mexico's first female motivational speakers, and when she returned to the U.S. 20 years ago, Jenny took her mother's torch. Both are bi-lingual; have written numerous books; and are television and radio personalities. They believe that all humans have 4 basic personality styles and once we identify them, our ability to understand others opens the doors to genuine communication. Today's technological world is very different than it was in Linda's times, but the need for interpersonal understanding is now more important than ever.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
