This particular trilobite lived around 420 million years ago in a tropical reef. Its fossilised shell was excavated in Morocco and passed on to me by a friend. Trilobite mining is a real industry over there, and forgeries are very common. This specimen has been proven genuine, and I am very grateful to have it in my fossil collection!
