There are different mode of actions by which Trianum can affect a plant pathogen. In this video you can see a direct effect of Trianum (Trichoderma harzianum T22) on a severe soil-born pathogen Pythium ultimum. Trianum is growing extremely fast, colonizing all available space and resources in a Petri dish and aggressively overgrowing the disease-causing Pythium. A visible overgrowth zone with hyphae of Trichoderma can be distinguished by a rich green colour. In this way the pathogen does not get a chance to develop.
