In Memorial of my dear old friend Tony Owens aka Tony J.

Tony Owens was proprietor of Seven Leaves Records who released many Lee Perry productions and released my first single in 1987.

Tony released one solo record himself - Telephone Line, produced by Alton Ellis, and he and I were working towards recording a new album of Tony's songs at Music Tec Studios.

Unfortunately the project was put on hold when the studio owner Bunny Scott tragically passed away and the studio folded.

Sadly, Tony took ill soon after, and tragically passed away in 2015, leaving the project uncompleted.

I recently recovered the old tapes and with the blessings of his family decided to publish them on YouTube to allow them to be heard for the first time since we recorded them.

In tribute to my dear old friend, and as a memorial to Tony Owens aka Tony J.
