We’ve been waiting for Frozen 2 for six years. And in that time, we’ve thought up a lot of questions about Frozen’s world. We were hoping that the new movie would swoop in and leave us with complete certainty. But who were we kidding? Frozen 2 has left us with way more questions than answers.

Like what? Well, for one, there are the specifics of Elsa’s new god-like status. What is she? A god? A ghost? Human-shaped ice? We just don’t know. On top of that, she communicates with her ancestors through some icy, outward flashbacks that make us wonder: is the afterlife an ice cave?

Plus, Anna’s Queen now. Without magical powers how is she going to keep her power of the realm and, if she does, how will she wield it? No matter how benevolent a monarch tries to be they still have absolute power over their subjects. Will there be a revolution on the streets of Arendelle?
