Weather - Cold
Wind and Rain - On the horizon
As one British singer once stated: It's not the kill, it's the thrill of the chase.
Such is my experience on old cars. Today I had to get something done on the "B" and though I have a few things going on right now with this car, I chose to get the out bearing races installed in my new hubs. I don't have a press so I used "the hammer 🔨 method"
I had NOT a delightful time with the first hub (the right side hub which I videoed). The second hub went in easier and faster, due to my exponential learning capacities. But seriously, it's not a hard job but I don't recommend it to people with physical issues as you have to hit these in pretty hard, but it's not that bad.
So if you decide on doing this job, good luck to you. If you don't want to do it, your local, trusty mechanic can press them in for you.
Happy Motoring !!
