Why can we trust God through prayer with our concerns, fears, and struggles? Great possibility and power are found in our ability to trust in prayer. Today, I want to talk about Paul's prayer to the people of Ephesus.

Paul's prayer is leading us right to Jesus, the center and connector of all things. All great spiritual teaching and preaching lead to Jesus. Paul lets us know early on that he is praying to the Father, the creator of heaven and earth.

We see that all true prayer is from a place of humility. We can trust Paul's words because he didn’t write them in the midst of an easy and perfect life. All hell was breaking loose against Paul as he preached that Jesus was the only way to eternal life.

All true prayer eventually moves past our issues and points to God. We give Him the glory when things go our way and when they don’t. We rest in his perfect love. We rely on His strength when we’re ready to give up.

It's not just about talking to Him, it's about communing with Him. Out of true gratitude, praise, and communion with Him comes some amazing answers in prayer.
