Following the death of King Henry VIII, there was a great hope for England when the new King Edward VI came onto the throne. Edward VI was the son of Henry VIII and some historians believe that if he had lived longer then his reign would have been more brutal than that of his father. Edward VI is considered a boy king, and he never ruled in his own right as he died before he became of adulthood to reign on his own.

Edward VI's death was harrowing and brutal, and he succumbed to a very painful death at the hands of Tuberculosis. He was though buried inside of Westminster Abbey but his coffin was opened and his grave had been desecrated a number of times.
