How to use VIDA to retract the electronic parking brake on P3 Volvo S60, S80, V60 V70, XC60 and XC90 models.

This is not a "how to" full brake job video. Only a walkthrough of parking brake retraction using a DICE unit and the VIDA program.

If you are doing brakes on your own car, you should already have knowledge and experience on how to do a brake job.
If you don't know how to replace brakes confidently, take it to a dealership because messing up brakes can cost you your life.

Tips and notes:

1. Having a DICE unit hooked up running VIDA will drain your battery within 10-15 minutes. I highly recommend hooking up a strong consistent battery maintainer.

2. Be patient with the brake retraction. Don't rush and unplug VIDA in the middle of the process. You can really mess stuff up.

3. There is a manual way to retract the brake, but this is how a Volvo dealership will do it. If you don't have access to VIDA and DICE unit, there are videos on how to retract the brake manually.
