The i3 represents creative thinking and design, meaning it's been on Chris' radar since it launched. Truly, this little BMW's clever interior and ingenious engineering were the big draws. Its electric powertrain was nearly an afterthought.

And, sure enough, living with an electric car has its benefits. While Chris expected he'd miss the rumble of a petrol engine, he's found the BMW i3's quiet operation to be unexpectedly pleasant and serene. And with an at-home charger and an on-board range extender, Chris hasn't had any problems using the i3 for trips about town or family adventures away from home.
