In this video, which is sponsored by Omaze, I see how the new BMW M4 Competition and M2 CS compare round a racing circuit.

They both have 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six engine driving the rear wheels.
But the M4 has 510hp and 600NM of torque compared to 450hp and 550NM for the M2 CS.

The M2 CS is lighter though at 1,550kg, compared to over 1,700kg for the M4. Also the M2 has a racing inspired seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The M4 uses a traditional torque converter auto with eight speeds.
