The 2024 E-class is basically a baby W223 S-class.
No you won't get the S-class' length (208 inches) and you won't get the S-class' road presence.
You won't get the S-class' V8 engine, but you also won't incur the S-class' gas guzzling nature either.

The 2024 E-class offers a Twin Turbo 4 cylinder with less than 300HP or a Twin Turbo V6 in the E450 with closer to 375 HP. The difference in price between those models is around $8000 depending on trim level.

Inside, you'll find an almost exact copy of the S-class' walls with beautiful ambient lighting and well textured materials. However, the E-class offers the SUPER SCREEN, a slightly smaller version of the EQ model's HYPER SCREEN. You get a central Navigation display, virtual Driver's gauges, passenger display screen (mirroring the center display's features) and a Heads Up display with augmented reality features. It's very high tech and relatively affordable for this class of buyer.

The downside however is the base engine's droning nature. I hate the sound of twin turbos with a passion. I'd prefer natural aspiration or a full EV. For buyers who need slightly more space, the EQE and EQE-SUV make more sense and carry more incentives but now you'll have to have an EV. For now, there's no hybrid available.
