10 Best EV Off-Road Vehicles Coming Soon
People around the world are going green in droves. As they replace their
appliances and light bulbs with more eco-friendly versions, they're also
looking to upgrade their vehicles to conserve fossil fuels and save money.
The automotive industry has responded by introducing a range of electric
cars and off-road vehicles that aren’t left out. Many automakers are now designing and building varieties of off-road- vehicles that are friendlier to
the environment and can almost keep up with their gasoline-fueled
relatives.

10. BOLLINGER B1 - 00:48
If you want an electric off-road pickup that is simple, efficient, and will last a
lifetime, with the SUV body type, Bollinger B1 is the answer. B1 has some
proper tools and features to make it a capable off-roader, so it is set to
handle any obstruction off-road. The all-wheel-drive features two electric motors, one on the front axle and another in the back with a combined 614 horsepower and 668 lb-ft of torque that will rocket the truck from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds. The B1 also comes with a front and rear locking differential, 15 inches of ground clearance, allowing for 10 inches of wheel travel.

The GB Tembo electric land cruiser is a 70 series gasoline converted to an electric off-roader. GB Tempo has a range of up to 160km, a maximum
speed of 80km/h, and can be recharged from 20 to 80% in 2.5 hours on a
standard 10A socket, or 1 hour on a 3 phase-3 wire system. The battery
has a life of 8000 cycles assuming a discharge of 20%.

The NZT is an all-electric, four-wheeler with modern dune buggy vibes
that are built to go off-road. NZT has a 7-inch instrument cluster and a 13-
inch portrait-oriented display in the dashboard, both IP68 waterproof that
can be updated via over-the-air software updates.

Bollinger B2 is the pickup truck version of Bollinger B1. Just like the B1, the
B2 model features an all-wheel-drive with two electric motors, one on the
front axle and another in the back with a combined 614 horsepower and
668 lb-ft of torque that will rocket the truck from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Energy is a major selling point with the Bollinger B2 Trucks. 

6. KREISSEL HUMMER - 04:41
Kreissel Electric and Arnold Schwarzenegger present the world-first off-
road electrified Hummer H1. The vehicle is still a prototype but already the
numbers are promising. Packed within is a 100-kilowatt-hour battery that
provides 185 miles of driving range, and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6
seconds. That might not seem much but it is a 7,275-pound off-roader.

5. GMC HUMMER TRUCK - 05:34
General Motors' gas-guzzling Hummer brand discontinued in 2010, is
poised to make a comeback for 2021 as an all-electric version. The
resurrected Hummer will appear first as a pickup truck and later as an SUV.
The new pickup is shaping up to be quite the beast, with up to 1000
horsepower from its top powertrain option, which uses three electric
motors.

seconds. Although many people had laughed it off and questioned the
company’s survival, Atlis is here with an all-electric truck, the XT electric
Pick up. This truck is among the most capable truck to ever be released.

The futuristic R1T is an all-electric pickup truck from the new American
startup brand Rivian. The R1T has an all-wheel drive, with an electric motor
at each wheel. This allows the R1T to do what Rivian calls a Tank Turn,
which sets the electric motors to rotate the left wheels in the opposite
direction of the right ones to spin the truck on its axis. Rivian says that
every R1T can tow more than 11,000 pounds and the pickup offers a
payload capacity of 1760 pounds.

Ford's F-150 has been redesigned for the 2021 model year and included
with the new truck is a Tremor grade. The tremor grade is designed for
those buyers seeking off-road capability without any loss to drivability,
payload, or towing capacity. The F-150 Tremor features retuned springs that help keep the tires more firmly in contact with the ground while adding a bit of extra ground clearance. The front hub knuckles, upper control arms, and dampers are all also unique to the F-150 Tremor.
