In this video I will show you the procedure to replace your Toyota and Lexus hybrid inverter coolant. And since it's the same coolant with the same interval, I also included the engine coolant as well.

This procedure is very simple and very DIY friendly. Follow the steps in this video and you will successfully save yourself a lot of money in servicing your Toyota hybrid and making it last a long time!

Neglecting your inverter coolant could cause inverter case leaks or worse transmission coolant leaks (in models equipped). I have seen these cases through my over a decade of experience as a Toyota master diagnostic technician currently working in a Toyota dealership.

Tools needed:
10mm socket to remove shields and covers
10mm HEX socket if your hybrid has a transmission drain.
fluid catch can.
flat heat screw driver to remove clips for the covers.
Spill free coolant funnel
small coolant funnel for the inverter reservoir
Jack and jack stands.
