Medicare Part D prescription drug plans also called PDP or part D 
provide coverage for prescription drugs for those people on Medicare. Each plan can vary in cost, and drug coverage. You must live in the service area of the part D plan to enroll and some plans will have a network of pharmacies. Your cost may differ depending on whether your pharmacy is in-network or out-of-network. If you decide not to join a Medicare part D plan when you're first eligible, you're likely to pay a lifetime late enrollment.
