Watch part 1 with audio description at • Being Human Now, part 1 [with Audio D...
The first UK-wide lockdown began on 23 March 2020, lasting until restrictions gradually eased in June. In October, a cross-section of our collaborators and community shared their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic so far, in response to the question What does it mean to be human, now?
These two films are subtitled and there are audio described versions of each on our channel. Please note that these films include references to racism, ableism and death from Covid-19.
In Part 2, our collaborators elaborate on their personal experiences of living and working during the coronavirus pandemic and share their thoughts and feelings about what comes next. Filmed at the same time as Part 1, there was no expectation of an imminent second full lockdown. Their stories are just as relatable and thought-provoking now as they were then.
