I built the floor and walls, this week I am building the roof. The bathroom is next to our off grid bus in New Zealand

I am building a composting toilet and an outdoor shower with a view. My aim is to make this as beautiful as possible and not an ugly long drop in the woods.

I will build the roof with polycarbonate to let the light in. I also want to leave some of the walls off, so I can make as much of the view as possible.

We are setting up a small #offgrid #homestead on a section we recently bought after emigrating from the UK to NZ looking for a simpler life. Unlike most #schoolies our bus is a little older, built in 1968. We are busy planting trees, growing our own food and setting up solar panels, water collection and grey water irrigation systems.
